I kind of lost track of time and blogging... But Summer is here!

School is over for the year I have completed my sophomore semester of college.  And now it is time to (in announcer voice of course) enjoy summer, continue my internship, and of course look for a job. So much has happened I can't possibly write (since it all seems like a blur) but I needed to get back on track so I changed my blog around and while doing so I came across my last post of my new year goals so I am going to see how I am doing and catch you up through that hopefully.
1. Get on a Laundry schedule and stick to it. ( Having to live with someone and do laundry with them totally helps you follow a plan. Oh Sergio a.k.a The Boy and I moved in together and got engaged.)
2. Go on a Facebook hiatus for at least 3 months. (I deleted mine and The Boys, with his permission of course (his idea),and haven't even noticed.)
3. Blog at least once a month.( You know how that going...)
4. Post on Tumblr daily.(Same as the blog but at least I respond to questions.)
5. Get caught up on the Gossip Girl Seasons on Netflix.
6. Get caught up on the How I Met Your Mother Seasons on Netflix.
(This is for 5&6 I need more Netflix show suggestions I am running out of ones to use as background noise.)
7. Get an Internship. (Got it through a teacher for the Queens Volunteer Lawyers Project (QVLP) and enjoy it so much)
8. Plan and stick to a homework schedule. (Never actually did this next semester I must though.)
9. Stop trying to please everyone. (I don't like this one I don't please people ask my family.)
10. Take my camera everywhere with me with a full battery (I have gotten extremely lazy on this).
11. Go through my clothes. (Donated 2-3 big bags full of old stuff.)
12. Organize my dorm. (No more dorm for this girl.)
13. Get in contact with and start working with the Queens Costco guy. (Still playing tag)
14. Read Heaven is For Real. (So Need too)
15. Watch all Harry Potters in One Day. ( Just need to get the last one in order to accomplish this.)
16. Get a new adorable wallet (mine is finally breaking after a two years) (Super cute from Target)
17. Keep my kindle charged and on me. (started well than trailed off... It's OK I got time.)
18. Crochet a blanket. (Learning...)
19. Get a Polaroid camera. (Not yet but maybe my Birthday or Christmas.)
So there you go I promise I am going to get more organized and waste spend less time on Pininterest and actually do things.

Febuary/Marchish

The weather is getting warmer so we have been playing outside more especially on sunny days. Especially since his lizard has been taunting his meal (a smaller lizard he is naturally suppose to eat). His Lizard is a beast and really neat but I don't want to see him devour it. Although it is cool when he grabs it in his mouth like he was grasping his last breath it was super cool just don't want to be present when he finally dies.

It's January and there is no snow please explain...

It is January which means a bunch of people have made New Years Resolutions. I think if you want to change why wait for a new year, month, day, hour, minute, or second. Simply get up and go do or else tomorrow will never come. I instead am making a 2012 to do list. Things I can cross of and achieve. So here is my 2012 to do list.

There is a lot to catch up on and I will most likely soon. Life has been rather busy. I went to California, had my laptop break on and off again, turned 20, saw Relatively Speaking, had finals, still have finals, and am getting ready for Christmas. I am going to California but will be back in time for New Years in New York. Not to get working on my to do list or continue to put it off.

Corn, Laptop not turning on, and a bbq?

Yes it is true. There is a farm in New York City. In Queens and on the outskirts of N.Y.C. but it is still there. This past Saturday was the YSA Corn Maze activity and what could I say but it was fun. I met amazing people and am planning on visiting one friend in her home of Ohio this spring break. It was a blast. There is something weird that happens at these activities. I always get moved forward into the leader position. It was dark and we all know my vision when it is bright, I started out with the flag but there was music playing and I didn't want to hurt anyone so I gave the flag to someone else. They still chose to follow the blind girl who had never seen corn off the self of the supermarket let alone be in in a corn maze who didn't have a flashlight lead them. It worked however we made it out in like 10-15 minutes. One guy who worked there said it was our LDS secret powers. The following afternoon I went to go reread President Monson's conference talk and of course my laptop wouldn't turn on. I had to wait till today to fix it and it just needed a part of the charger fixed thankfully and was covered under my warranty. Thankfully that was all since it is getting to be midterm season. My friend whom I met invited me to a bbq at his family's home a normal Sunday routine although he thought it was going to be more people from the ward. But it was fun and his family loves me but again we are just friends I still have a month and we just met.

The leaves are starting to change with me

There is a time in New York where something in the air simply changes. The leaves begin to change color. You turn off your air conditioner off. You grab a comforter. You start bringing an umbrella with you everywhere and dust off your rain boots. You grab a cardigan. It has begun. The City has begun its transformation into fall. This is my favorite time of year there is something so serene and magical about this time of year. I never was in love with this time of year while l lived in California. New York makes it magical. Or maybe it is the people and the gifts from God that truly make it one of a kind.

May the briges I burn light the way.

I am back! No I was not missing technically but I am back at school and once again my life feels normal. I have new goals, a clearer image of the type of person my eternal companion will, I know the difference I want to make in the world, and yes just like every other time I have a plan. Plus I have exciting new personal goals. I want to join the Peace Corps before heading off to Law School I have been talking to a recruiter about the available programs in Africa. I have been a little obsessed with Africa for a while now and would give anything to be able to give back to the country that has been robed of so much. I would love to go and teach English and maybe I will for like a month during a break from school those programs are just so gosh darn expensive. But we will see if it is meant to happen the Lord will provide otherwise I will just have to wait three more years and get to live in Africa with the people for 27 months. I can't wait. Anyways school has started again thankfully I love my classes and teachers (not so much theology professor). I enjoy learning and the opportunities studying in NY and at STJ has provided me with. I like the person I am becoming and the place I am taking my life. ~Side note I hate when people say where my life is taking me it almost feels as though your not taking responsibility. Let's face it wither we like it or not we have full control of our lives.~ Rant done. I like where my life is. I love my friends, family, and me. What more could I ask for?
